The Domaine de l'Île Margaux is a Bordeaux wine estate that extends over an exceptional site of 14 hectares, vines planted in the middle of the Garonne in the island of Tour de Mons as it is known locally, in the "Bras de Macaué".

This unique vineyard, one of the very few island vineyards on the river, faces Château Margaux: its grapes were vinified with those of the Premier Grand Cru Classé during the 1855 classification.

Owned by Gérard Favarel since 2001, the estate has been operated for 20 years in a protected natural environment with great attention paid to biodiversity. It went into organic conversion in 2012 and was certified organic with the 2015 vintage.
