This Bordeaux des Îles is an organic red wine in the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, produced by the Domaine de L'Île Margaux, one of the very few island vineyards in Bordeaux.
Made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and old Malbec vines, it offers a beautiful nose of blackcurrant, plum and cherry with notes of sweet spices. The palate is fine, greedy, very well balanced with fine and silky tannins and the finish is fresh, with subtle vegetal and spicy notes.
