Domaine Doja is a family-run winery in Serbia, in the Toplica region, whose history dates back to 1895. It extends over 36 hectares of vines located on south-facing slopes of Mont Jastrebac, at an altitude of 470 metres.
The estate is run by the family, parents Goran and Slavica Todic, both engineers and professors of oenology at the University of Belgrade, and their daughter Mina, who after studying agricultural sciences in Bordeaux, joined the property. The estate has been in organic conversion since 2019.
One of the estate's emblematic grape varieties is Prokupac, an autochthonous Serbian grape variety whose first written records date back to the 14th century. Prokupac produced by Domaine Doja is the first wine from Serbia to have won the BIWC trophy for the best red wine made from an autochthonous grape variety in the Balkans. The estate also produces white wines from the Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Tamjanika grape varieties and red wines from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties.
