Domaine Zulal is a winery in Armenia, whose name means "pure" in Armenian, specializing in the production of micro-cuvées from rare indigenous grape varieties, in Aghavnadzor and Rind in the Arpat Valley.
Created by Aimee Keushguerian in 2017, Domaine Zulal cultivates some of the rarest grape varieties of the fifty or so indigenous Armenian grape varieties such as Koghbeni from Tavush, Nazeli, Movuz, Tozot and Karmir Kot from Vayots Dzor, Sireni from Artsakh, Jrjruk from Tavush and Kakhet from Artashat.
The estate benefits from a very beautiful terroir with ungrafted vines aged 30 to 60 years located at high altitudes, volcanic and limestone soils, and sunshine of more than three hundred days a year. Modern winemaking methods combined with traditional ageing in Caucasian oak barrels result in excellent and amazing Armenian wines.
