Hayes Ubuntu Tozot Armenia Red 2022
This Armenian red wine from Hayes Winery is made from a rare Armenian grape variety, Tozot, which is mainly found in the Vayots Dzor region, one of the oldest known wine regions in the world.
This amazing grape variety, rarely vinified alone due to its rarity, offers a wine with a nose of ripe black fruits with notes of chocolate, coffee and vanilla, and on the palate, a fresh and energetic expression, elegant with fine tannins and a long and sapid finish. It will go perfectly with red meats, spicy dishes and hard cheeses..
Forgotten for more than a century, the wines of Armenia are reborn in this cradle of viticulture where remains dating back almost 8000 years have been unearthed. Discover Armenian wines and wines from Hayes Winery, where Loucine Hayes brings to life some of Armenia's oldest and rarest grape varieties.
