Domaine Josmeyer Alsace Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Hengst 2011
This Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Hengst 2011 is produced by Domaine Josmeyer in organic and biodynamic farming. The Hengst climate (standard) classified as a grand cru is located in the commune of Wintzenheim, on conglomerates of Oligocene limestone and marl several hundred metres thick.
The 2011 vintage is characterized by its generosity, freshness and balance. This superb Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Hengst offers a powerful and spicy nose with an impressive mineral structure on the palate. In this vintage, it matures with ten years of age and offers perfect pairings with Asian gastronomy, curries and other spicy dishes, Creole and Mexican cuisine, duck à l'orange or powerful cheeses such as Munster or Maroilles.
