Domaine Albert Mann Alsace Vendanges Tardives Pinot Gris Altenbourg White Dessert Wine 2011 50cl
The 2011 Pinot Gris Altenbourg is a great sweet white wine from Alsace in late harvest. It offers great aromatic complexity with marked notes of yellow fruits, peach and apricot, and aromas of vanilla and marzipan. On the palate, the wine is smooth with a fine acidity.
It is now ready to be tasted and will be able to remain in the cellar for another ten years. It will be the perfect accompaniment to a roasted foie gras with honey or a mirabelle plum tart with vanilla ice cream.
Since 2000, Domaine Albert Mann's wines have been certified organic by Ecocert. The estate began to practice biodynamic cultivation in 1997 on three grands crus and finally applied it to all of them and has been in the process of biodynamic certification by Biodyvin since 2010.
