Chateau Cazebonne Cepages d'Antan Comme en 1900 Red 2020
This astonishing cuvée "Comme en 1900" from Château Cazebonne is made from forgotten grape varieties of Bordeaux, grape varieties of yesteryear that were still cultivated in 1900: Mancin, Castets, Bouchalès, Saint-Macaire and Jurançon noir. The result of five years of patient work to select and replant, it is made biodynamically, vinified with natural yeasts, and aged for 18 months in amphorae and then in barrels.
It has a dark colour and vibrant fruity aromas of blueberry and blackcurrant on the nose, complemented by floral notes. On the palate, the substance is fine, taut, and the finish is fresh and mouth-watering.
