55.00 € Tax included

An exceptional vintage like 2009, Château La Nerthe Rouge 2010 is a rich and elegant wine with notes of lavender, liquorice, blueberry, blackberry and leather. A subtle blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre that gives a dense, complex and gourmet wine.

This great red wine can be perfectly paired with game such as a wild boar terrine, a roasted woodcock or a duck with blood.

It was in the 12th century, at the time when the Popes were French, that the La Nerthe vineyard was born, from which this Château La Nerthe Rouge 2009 comes from. Frédéric Mistral, founder of the Félibrige and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1904, praised the wine of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, "a royal, imperial, pontifical wine" and glorified that of the Nerthe in "Le chant des félibres" (1855).

Find the great white and red wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the wines of Château La Nerthe with La Bouteille Dorée: many old vintages and large bottle formats in stock.
