This Château de Beaucastel Hommage à Jacques Perrin 2013 is an exceptional cuvée from the estate, offered here in a 3-litre Jeroboam, in its original wooden case. It is a superb red Châteauneuf-du-Pape that the Perrin family decided to make in honour of their father, only in the great vintages. It comes mainly from very old vines, mainly Mourvèdre, and small yields giving small quantities of intensely ripe and concentrated fruit.

It has a dark ruby colour and powerful aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, spice, leather and game. It is a very concentrated wine, very fat on the palate with perfectly melted and velvety tannins.

Château de Beaucastel is one of the most renowned estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and produces exceptional red and white wines. It is one of the pioneers of organic farming introduced in the 60s and biodynamics introduced in 1974. Find at La Bouteille Dorée the wines of Château de Beaucastel currently on sale.
