This Chinon Les Perruches 2018 is a Lambert red wine made from 100% Cabernet Franc grape variety in certified organic and biodynamic farming (Ecocert and Demeter).
It offers a very greedy nose, with intense fruit, while the palate expresses rather stony and flint notes, characteristic of the terroir of Les Perruches, with very fine tannins, a lot of freshness and a persistent finish.
It can be enjoyed today with hanger steak with shallots, beef charcuterie (Grison meat), braised veal paupiette, duck shepherd's pie or with fairly mature flowery cheeses (Camembert, Pont-l'Évêque). It can also be kept in the cellar until 2026-2028.
