How to choose a gift box option?
You have several ways to choose a gift box option:
If you want to create a gift box with 2 or 3 bottles, on their own or with tasting glasses or accessories:
1) Click on MAKE YOUR OWN GIFTS
2) Choose the desired wine gift box from the types of boxes offered.
3) Choose your bottle(s) and add them one after the other to your cart indicating the quantity (1 by default).
5) Repeat the operation until you have reached the total quantity of bottles in your box (1, 2 or 3).
6) View your cart then choose the occasion and write a custom message up to 1,000 characters.
7) Click on the "Order" button.
If you need help or are in a hurry:
1) Click on WINE GIFT SETS
2) Choose a box from the list offered: these are gift boxes selected by La Bouteille Dorée and ready to be shipped.
3) Click on the "Add to cart" button.
6) View your cart then choose the occasion and write a custom message up to 1,000 characters.
7) Click on the "Order" button.
If you want to make a wine gift with a wooden case:
1) Click on PREMIUM WINE GIFTS IN WOODEN CASES
2) Choose a case of 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 bottles or magnums from the list provided.
3) Click on the "Add to cart" button.
6) View your cart then choose the occasion and write a custom message up to 1,000 characters.

If you want to give an old vintage wine as a gift to celebrate a birthday or anniversary:
1) Click on MAKE YOUR OWN GIFTS then on CHOOSE ONE VINTAGE.
2) Choose a vintage range, from 1920 to 2010 such as the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s.
3) Choose your bottle.
3) Click on the "Add to cart" button.
6) View your cart then choose the occasion and write a custom message up to 1,000 characters.
7) Click on the "Order" button.
How to create a gift box yourself?
1.- You start by selecting your bottle of wine: to do this, browse our catalogue, using the search engine, by vintage, by country, by region or by defining your budget using the price slider. By clicking on "advanced search", you can choose other selection criteria such as the colour, whether the estate is organic or biodynamic or the best time to taste the wine you have chosen.
2. - The list of wines corresponding to your selection is displayed and you just have to click on the cross in the center of the bottle "Add to box" that you will find when hovering over each bottle.
3. - Once you have added your bottle, you can delete it at any time by clicking on the small golden basket.
4. - You will then reach the second step where you will be able to create a message to attach to your wine gift.
5. - First choose an occasion for your gift and then write a small personal note of 1000 characters maximum.
6. - Your wine gift box is ready! The price is displayed at the bottom of the page and simply click the "Add to my hood" button to view your cart and complete the order. La Bouteille Dorée offers you to choose the day of delivery of your gift before paying for your order. This way you can make sure that your gift won't arrive too early or too late! Is my box shipped in the right packaging?
Yes. Each bottle or gift box is placed in a specific cardboard packaging that is impact-resistant and guarantees that the recipient receives your gift in good condition.
Is my box offered in gift packaging?
Yes, and this is one of the many advantages that La Bouteille Dorée offers you. All the packaging is created by us and you can choose between 2 gift wrappings:
- If you have chosen a gift box with 1 magnum of wine of 150cl alone, it is offered in a beautiful resistant cotton bag with large handles, designed by La Bouteille Dorée.
- If you have chosen a gift box with 1, 2 or 3 bottles of 75cl wine, they are offered in beautiful black and gold boxes.
- If you have chosen a gift box with 1 bottle of 75cl wine and 2 glasses, it is offered in a beautiful black and gold box.
- If you have chosen a gift box with 1 or 2 bottles of 75cl wine with accessories, they are offered in beautiful black and gold boxes with the accessories inside, surprise goodies created and selected to make each box a real original gift. How do I pay for my order?
La Bouteille Dorée offers several classic payment methods:
- Payment by credit card. Transactions are secured by 3D-Secure. This is the easiest and fastest way to pay for your purchase and shipping can be prepared immediately.
- Payment by cheque.
- Payment by bank transfer.
La Bouteille Dorée also offers you the opportunity to pay for your purchase together by creating an online fundraiser and inviting your loved ones to participate in the gift.
How do I redeem a voucher?
When you have clicked on the "Order" button, you will be taken to the summary of your shopping cart and under the total to be paid, you can then consult the "Take advantage of our offers" section and the various current vouchers or price reductions reserved for you. Follow these steps to use them:
- Click on the first link to display it in the box: "Coupon" and then OK.
- The discount will then be displayed in your cart and the total will be reduced by the amount of the discount.
- Click on the other links if there are and repeat the operation.
Do you offer express delivery?
We offer several express delivery methods:
Chronopost
Chronopost 13: if you place your order on D-Day before noon, it can be delivered on D+1 before 1 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Chronopost 18 and Chronopost Relais: if you place your order on D-Day before noon, it can be delivered on D+2 before 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
The availability of Chronopost packages is linked to the delivery location.
Errand boy
If you place your order before noon, it will be delivered the next day before 6pm. This mode is reserved for deliveries within Paris and departments 92, 93 and 94 only.
Courier on Saturdays
If you place your order on Friday before noon, it will be delivered on Saturday between 9am and 1pm. This mode is reserved for deliveries within Paris and departments 92, 93 and 94 only.
Evening courier
If you place your order before noon, it will be delivered the next day between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. or between 10 p.m. and midnight, by appointment. This method is reserved for deliveries within Paris only.
Express Courier
If you place your order before noon, your gift box will be delivered the same day before 6pm. This mode is reserved for deliveries within Paris and departments 92, 93 and 94 only.

How to create a pot to pay for the gift together?
La Bouteille Dorée offers you the opportunity to create an online fundraiser to pay for your gift box with several people. It is nothing more or less than the electronic version of the envelope that is spun for a wedding, a birth, a birthday or a farewell party. It allows you to contribute between relatives to offer a gift to several while avoiding the usual hassles. Donations are collected and constitute an asset on the site. The organizer no longer needs to advance the money or fuss with his envelope. Participants can easily and actively participate in the event even if they live on the other side of the planet!
By opening a fundraiser, you become the organizer of a common gift. Your loved ones will be able to participate in this pot and you will then be able to use the money collected as a credit note and place the order corresponding to the gift.
- To open a fundraiser, you must first choose the item that will serve as a gift. The amount to be reached for the kitty will be set at the price of the chosen item. So browse freely among the products on the site and click on "buy together" to select the gift.
- Then give a name to the fundraiser corresponding to the event (e.g. "Lea's birthday on September 15th"). By default, the number of participants is free and there is no deadline to participate, but you can change these settings (see paragraph "Setting a deadline or number of participants").
- If this is your first fundraiser, stay on "this is your 1st visit". You can register either through your Facebook account, which will become your fundraiser account, or by creating a new fundraiser account, by entering your name, surname, email and password. This creates your pot and your pool account.
