This Corton Grand Cru white 2009 is a great white wine from Burgundy from Domaine Chandon de Briailles, from three of the best plots of Corton Bressandes, Corton Chaumes and Corton Renardes.
A very beautiful, original wine, coming mainly from Pinot Noir soils, therefore quite round, with a nose of yellow fruits (peach, apricot) with honeyed notes, very elegant and fresh on the palate. The 2009 vintage is characterized by an exceptional maturity but with a high acidity, which gives a very nice balance and after more than ten years of conservation, a wine full of finesse and complexity.
Owned by the same family since 1834, the Chandon de Briailles estate now belongs to the Count and Countess Aymard-Claude de Nicolay. Great wines for ageing, a lot of freshness and an entirely biodynamic culture; This is what best characterises this great vineyard.
