Domaine Trapet offers us here a great red wine from Burgundy in the Latricières-Chambertin appellation and classified as Grand Cru, from a 75-acre plot that the Domaine acquired in 1904.

Mentioned for the first time in 1508, the Latricières were first confused with their neighbour, the Chambertin. The name refers to the nature of the soil, the Tricière or poor soil, this terroir being composed of a clay-limestone subsoil on which a thin layer of silica is laid.
