This Charmes Chambertin 2000 is a great red wine from Burgundy classified as a Grand Cru, produced by Domaine Henri Rebourseau.

In Burgundy, the word "Charmes" refers to a fallow land where hornbeams grow, small hardy trees with wood that are perfectly suitable for heating. This appellation is separated from Chambertin by the Route des Grands Crus. The estate's plots are exclusively located in Charmes Chambertin and in their highest part.

On the nose, it offers aromas of stewed wild strawberries and notes of liquorice, spices and undergrowth. Perfectly balanced, elegant and unctuous on the palate, it reveals a great harmony, with a long aromatic and spicy finish.

It will go perfectly with prime rib and grilled or sauced furry game. It offers a long life and can be kept in the cellar for a few more years, until about 2028-2030..
