Domaine Denis Bachelet Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2004

Domaine Denis Bachelet Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2004

475.00 € Tax included

This 2004 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru from Domaine Denis Bachelet is an exceptional red wine. The Charmes-Chambertin climate, whose name comes from "chaume" and not "charme", is a great red wine from Burgundy, from the Côte-de-Nuits, located not far from the Mazoyères cru.

A small vintage in Burgundy, 2004 is still very respectable with very great wines such as this Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, with a rather intense nose of blackberry, sweet spices and cloves. Without the substance and concentration of the great vintages, it is still very pleasant on the palate, smooth and round, very well balanced.
