Moulin de La Lagune Haut-Medoc Second vin de Chateau La Lagune 2016 Magnum

93.50 € Tax included

Le Moulin de la Lagune is the second wine of Château La Lagune, classified as a third grand cru in the official classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855. A wine made by the talented Caroline Frey who has been at the head of Château La Lagune since 2004, advised by Denis Debourdieu.

This beautiful 2016 vintage offers an intense nose of black fruit and liquorice and silky tannins for a well-balanced wine. It is offered here in a 150cl Magnum, a beautiful bottle for a festive meal.

The terroir of La Lagune is considered by the famous geologist René Pijassou as the model of the Médoc islands. Made up of light gravel and silica, it helps to give the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot the grace, balance and finesse that characterize the wines of La Lagune. Today, Château La Lagune preserves the precious harmony between the soils, the vines and the natural environment composed of forests, marshes and meadows and has been adopting the principles of viticulture based on biodynamics for the past ten years. After three years of organic conversion that began in 2014, it has been certified organic since the 2016 vintage.
