This Irouléguy 2021is a great red wine produced by Domaine Bordaxuria in organic farming, and made from a blend of Tannat for 60% complemented by Cabernet Franc for 40%.
On the nose, it offers gourmet aromas of red fruits (strawberry, cherry, blackcurrant) enhanced by peppery and liquorice notes. On the palate, it expresses itself on freshness, with a beautiful supple and fluid substance. It can be enjoyed today after good aeration or kept in the cellar until 2026-2028. It goes perfectly with duck with black cherries and Sarladaise potatoes.
