Chateau Rauzan-Gassies Margaux 2eme Grand Cru Classe Red 1970
Château Rauzan-Gassiès 1970 is a great Bordeaux wine in the Margaux appellation and 2nd Grand Cru Classé.
The year 1970 was a very good vintage in Bordeaux: after a difficult start to the year, the climatic conditions improved from flowering, with a very dry month of July and a hot summer with some humidity, crowned by sunny weather during the harvest.
This great 1970 Margaux wine still offers power, concentration and freshness, signs of the vintage with the great wines of the Médoc. 50 years have passed and this wine still offers a lot of pleasure to taste.
