Catena Zapata Malbec Mendoza Argentina 2019
This 2019 Argentinian Malbec is produced by the famous Catena Zapata Estate from the very high altitude terroirs of Mendoza, between 900 and 1500 meters, in the foothills of the Andes. Laura Catena, 4th generation of the family, and oenologist Alejandro Vigil are the founders.
It offers a powerful nose of black fruits and notes of truffle. On the palate, black cherry, blueberry, chocolate and leather are present with spicy notes. It will be the perfect accompaniment to pork ribs, grilled beef skewers, duck confit, spicy cuisine and dark chocolate. It can be kept until 2025-2027.
