This beautiful Zinfandel Boneshaker 2019 opens with aromas of blackcurrant and blackberries with subtle notes of sweet spices and leather. On the palate, the rich aromas of ripe fruit blossom perfectly in a balanced substance with supple tannins, with a long, slightly spicy and toasted finish.
It comes from 50 to 100-year-old vines planted on Arbor Vineyard, in the Mokelumne River appellation, a sub-appellation of Lodi (AVA). The low yields and the very favorable Mediterranean climate thanks to the influence of the Sacramento River Delta, make the Lodi appellation one of the most recognized in the United States for ZinfandeL
This wine is the perfect accompaniment to ribs or barbecued red meats.
