Château Chasse-Spleen 2018 is a great red wine from Bordeaux, an exceptional cru bourgeois located in Moulis-en-Médoc.It is offered here in a magnum size, a 1.5-litre bottle

A very fine 2018 vintage that difficult conditions have reduced in volume, 30% of that of an average year, with a blend still dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon where we find a little more Petit-Verdot and Cabernet Franc than normal. It offers intense blackberry aromas and spicy notes on the nose. On the palate, the attack is fresh and expressive, the substance well structured, tense, with powerful and supple tannins, slightly chalky notes, with a very persistent finish on cocoa touches.

It will preferably be necessary to wait until 2023 or 2024 to start tasting it and it can be kept until about 2045-2050.
