This 2022 vintage from Ravines Wine Cellars is an American red wine from the Finger Lakes region of New York State and is made from 100% Cabernet Franc planted on the vineyards of White Springs and 16 Falls Vineyards. The wine is aged in 2000-litre oak barrels aged several years.
It is a very greedy red wine with aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, black cherry and cranberry and light vegetal and spicy notes. On the palate, the expression is pure and elegant, dominated by fruit, and the finish is sapid.
This wine is the perfect accompaniment to ribs or barbecued red meats.
