Chateau Pedesclaux Pauillac 5eme Grand Cru Classe 2018

Château Pédesclaux 2018 is a great Bordeaux wine in the Pauillac appellation, 5th grand cru classified in the official classification of 1855.

In the excellent 2018 vintage, a particularly hot year with continuous sunshine from July to September, the variety of terroirs and soils of clay and gravel of Château Pédesclaux gives a great Pauillac wine made from a blend dominated by Cabernet'-Sauvignon for almost two-thirds.

It offers an intense garnet colour and a powerful and rich nose with aromas of black fruits, blackcurrant and black cherry, with more discreet notes of blond tobacco and citrus zest. On the palate, the substance is rich and smooth, with silky tannins and a salivating, pure and fresh finish.

Both powerful and very elegant, dense and voluptuous, this great red wine from Pauillac is made for long ageing, at least until 2035.

Find all the wines of Château Pédesclaux currently on sale and in particular several old vintages of this grand cru classé. Since 2012, half of the vineyard has been managed organically and biodynamically.
