Carruades de Lafite Rothschild Pauillac 1995

332.00 € Tax included

Carruades de Lafite Rothschild 1995 is a great red wine from Bordeaux in the Pauillac appellation and the second wine of Château Lafite Rothschild, classified 1er Grand Cru in the classification of Médoc wines of 1855. This wine takes its name from the Carruades plateau, a group of plots adjoining the château and acquired in 1845 by Château Lafite. In the 19th century, the wines of the Carruades were sold under their name, independently of Château Lafite, then the name of Carruades was taken up for the second wine of Château Lafite, first under the name of "Moulin des Carruades" and then "Carruades de Lafite" from the 1980s.

A beautiful red wine from Pauillac, with a very fine nose and aromatic intensity. It brings silky elegant tannins, and a long finish all in elegance.
