Château de Fieuzal Grand Cru Classé de Graves Red 2008

Chateau de Fieuzal Grand Cru Classe de Graves Red 2008

38.00 € Tax included

A very old growth of Léognan, Château de Fieuzal is a Grand Cru Classé of the Pessac-Léognan appellation and is one of the jewels of the great wine region of Graves, the cradle of the Gironde vineyards.

Château de Fieuzal 2008 is an elegant and fruity wine. A dense attack, silky tannins and a beautiful finish with a hint of bitterness, to be drunk now or kept for a few years in the cellar.

In the 19th century, one of the members of the Fieuzal family sent Pope Leo XIII a bottle of the 1883 vintage. He appreciated it so much that it later became one of the most popular wines in the Vatican.
