Château Gazin Pomerol 2008

Chateau Gazin Pomerol 2008

77.00 € Tax included

In the heart of the famous clay-gravel plateau of Pomerol, next to the prestigious Petrus and Gospel estates, Château Gazin is a member of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux and is one of the major properties of the appellation.

With a purple, powerful, harmonious and deep colour, this Château Gazin 2008 offers a wide aromatic palette of red and black fruits that evolve during the ageing process towards complex notes, which can go towards spices, undergrowth and leather. On the palate, the tannic structure is fine, the woody delicate with a beautiful finish that finishes with notes of cocoa.

Château Gazin went through a glorious period with the sumptuous 1955 and 1961 vintages and then fell asleep until the 80s. Under the impetus of Nicolas de Baillencourt, Gazin returned in successive stages with, in 1989, the first vintage of renewal. Since then, the success has been uninterrupted.
