- A bottle of Château Gazin 2021, made from 87% Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and to a lesser extent Cabernet Franc: a still young Pomerol, with a powerful nose of red and black fruits, with notes of cocoa and leather, and on the palate, a full-bodied, fresh and fleshy substance with a fine tannic structure,  and a long finish.
- A bottle of Château de Sales 2000, a beautiful red wine from Pomerol, with nearly 25 years of cellar storage: a mature Pomerol wine, dominated by notes of game, pepper and violet with smoky touches, well balanced on the palate on ripe black fruits, spices and mocha.
- A bottle of Château L'Evangile 1993: a superb and mature Pomerol of over 30 years of age, with perfectly supple tannins, a very silky texture and a rich aromatic expression.

In the heart of the famous clay-gravel plateau of Pomerol, next to the prestigious Petrus and Gospel estates, Château Gazin is a member of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux and is one of the major properties of the appellation.

With difficult climatic conditions which led to a 60% decrease in volumes, the 2021 vintage of Château Gazin offers a more classic and less sunny Pomerol, made from 100% Merlot. It offers all the characteristics of a great Pomerol wine, with a nose of red fruits (cherries, morello cherries) and lighter floral notes around violet and iris. On the palate, the attack is smooth, freshness, balance and elegance are there with a beautiful roundness, a contained power and a long finish.

Its structure composed exclusively of Merlot allows it to be appreciated younger, but it is preferable to show a little patience until about 2028-2030, to fully appreciate it, and it can be kept until 2045 at least.

Château Gazin went through a glorious period with the sumptuous 1955 and 1961 vintages and then fell asleep until the 80s. Under the impetus of Nicolas de Baillencourt, Gazin returned in successive stages with, in 1989, the first vintage of renewal. Since then, the success has been uninterrupted.

Château de Sales 2000 is a great Pomerol wine in an excellent vintage, now mature but it can be kept for a few more years, until about 2025-2027.

It is a wine with a nose of ripe fruit, cocoa and mushroom, round and full-bodied on the palate with very silky tannins and an elegant and persistent finish.
