Dreissigacker Bechtheimer Geyersberg Riesling Auslese Rheinhessen Germany 2015 37,5cl
This 2015 Riesling from the Dreissigacker estate is a sweet German white wine (Auslese) made from 100% of the Riesling grape variety and produced organically. This single-vineyard comes from the small Geyersberg vineyard located in the village of Bechtheim, facing south and allowing an excellent development of botrytis and maturity of the grapes.
With a brilliant golden colour, it offers a concentrated nose with aromas of pear, mango and pineapple and some refreshing touches of ginger. On the palate, it is a mineral wine, with fresh acidity, notes of exotic fruits and pear, subtly lemony and honeyed. It can be enjoyed now as an accompaniment to a roasted foie gras with honey or a mirabelle plum tart with vanilla ice cream, and offers exceptional longevity until 2040-2045.
