This 1976 Rivesaltes is a great natural sweet wine from Roussillon, from the House of Cazes, and after more than 45 years of storage, it is a complex wine offering a beautiful coppery disc, a nose marked by rancio, followed by aromas of walnuts, bitter orange, dried apricot, spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom), ample and smooth on the palate with a very persistent finish. It will be the perfect accompaniment to duck à l'orange or spiced desserts.

Maison Cazes is internationally renowned for its Roussillon wines. Its history dates back to 1895 and 120 years later, it produces beautiful Garnet, Tuilé and Amber Rivesaltes. Maison Cazes is currently managed by Lionel Lavail and Emmanuel Cazes is in charge of winemaking. The estate has been operated biodynamically for more than 15 years, a natural viticulture without industrial inputs that places the preservation of the soil and the vine at the heart of its values. Today, Maison Cazes owns the largest vineyard in France converted to organic and biodynamic cultivation.
