Laurent Miquel, Château Cazal Viel, Saint-Chinian, Vieilles Vignes, 2012

Laurent Miquel Chateau Cazal Viel Saint-Chinian Old Vines 2012

11.50 € Tax included

This Saint-Chinian is an intense garnet wine with purple reflections. Fine, pleasant, intense and spicy nose (black pepper and cloves). On the palate, it is a round and fat wine that shows a very nice balance between tannins, wood and fat.

Located at the top of the Languedoc hills, Cazal Viel benefits from one of the most interesting terroirs in the region. The grapes produced on this terroir have an extraordinary intensity and character. They come from old vines with naturally low yields. Made from a selection of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache vines, this cuvée is matured in barrels for 12 months.
