Château Angélus 2014 is a great red wine from Bordeaux in the Saint-Emilion appellation and 1er Grand Cru Classé A, which in this great Bordeaux vintage, is made in equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

It offers a very pure nose and a lot of elegance. On the palate, the attack is precise with a very nice balance between tension, freshness and power.  The 50% Cabernet Franc in the blend enhances the elegance of the tannic structure and gives the finish complexity and persistence. A beautiful 2014 vintage that can be kept in the cellar until 2040.
