Château Fombrauge Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé 1996

Chateau Fombrauge Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe 1996

106.00 € Tax included

Château Fombrauge 1996 is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé wine resulting from a rigorous plot selection, by terroir and by grape variety (95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc), according to the age of the vines. The Château's first vines were planted more than 400 years ago.

The nose is still powerful, with notes of ripe black fruit, leather, undergrowth and cigar, and on the palate, a supple and elegant substance.

You can browse our selection of wines from Château Fombrauge and Saint-Emilion and in particular several old vintages of this great appellation on the right bank of the Bordeaux vineyards.
