Chateau Saint-Georges Saint-Georges-Saint-Emilion 1989
Château Saint-Georges 1989 is a Bordeaux wine from Libourne, in one of the lesser-known appellations of Saint-Emilion, Saint-Georges-Saint-Emilion, the smallest in terms of surface area of the Bordeaux wine appellations, and in an exceptional 1989 vintage for Saint-Emilion wines.
In this satellite appellation of Saint-Emilion, here is a 30-year-old wine with a powerful nose on notes of black fruits (blackcurrant) and spices with a marked evolution (undergrowth, mushrooms, leather, kirsch). It is well balanced on the palate, still opulent with a light but complex finish.
