Château Branaire-Ducru is a great wine from Saint-Julien, 4th Grand Cru Classé, offered here in the superb 2005 vintage. The nose offers very beautiful aromas of ripe fruit with complex mineral, floral and spicy notes. The wine offers perfect maturity on the palate, fleshy and dense, all in balance between controlled power and tannic finesse, with a long finish.
