Château Langoa-Barton 2012 is a great wine from Saint-Julien, 3rd Grand Cru Classé, offered here in a 300cl Double-Magnum. It is a superb wine with aromas of red fruits (raspberry, cherry), supple and fine on the palate, with a beautiful finish, which can be enjoyed now. However, a few years in the cellar would be preferable to appreciate all its qualities, but 2012 is a vintage of average ageing, to be enjoyed within 10 to 15 years.

With a hot and dry summer but preceded by a wet spring and followed by heavy rains in autumn, the 2012 vintage was very contrasting for Bordeaux wines, between the right and left banks, Merlot and Cabernets, reds, dry whites and sweet whites. If the quality of the wines is there in Saint-Julien, it is because of the extreme care taken by the châteaux to sort the grapes and then in the cellar, during blending.

Find Château Langoa-Barton's wines and a fine selection of large wine bottles in our Double-Magnums catalog and our catalog of large bottles such as 3-liter Jeroboams, 6-liter Imperials and Methuselahs, 9-liter Salmanazars, 12-liter Balthazars, 15-liter Nebuchadnezzars.
