Chateau Branaire-Ducru Saint-Julien 4eme Grand Cru Classe 2010
Château Branaire-Ducru 2010 is a great red wine from Saint-Julien, classified as 4th Grand Cru in the 1855 Médoc wine classification.
The 2010 vintage was an exceptional year for the great wines of the Médoc and Château Banaire-Ducru in particular: a hot but not scorching summer limited yields and the cool periods in September increased the quality of the grapes, both in terms of maturity and tannins.
Now ripe, this 2010 Château Branaire-Ducru offers a beautiful nose of rich, ripe red and black fruits (plum, fig) with spicy and chocolate notes, a clean and pure attack on the palate, a very concentrated and fresh substance with complex aromas, a tannic and silky structure, and an elegant finish with impressive length.
