Château Lagrange 2013 is a great red wine from Bordeaux, 3rd Grand Cru Classé in the Saint-Julien appellation.

In this 2013 vintage, which experienced a cold and wet spring and early summer, followed by a hot and dry summer, Château Lagrange's wine expresses its suppleness and delicacy. The blend is made up of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot.

It offers an expressive nose of fruit and notes of cedar and spices and a very classic style on the palate, elegant with a finish of freshness.

In 1842, King Louis-Philippe's former Minister of the Interior, Count Duchatel, left his mark on both the property and the Médoc by being the initiator of the drainage of the vines. Le Comte increased production to 300 tons. This was the great era of Lagrange, which in 1855 saw it awarded the position of 3rd Growth.
