Sarget de Gruaud Larose 2000 is the second wine of Château Gruaud Larose, 2nd Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Julien.

The 2000 vintage was an early year with excellent summer conditions, both in terms of sunshine and humidity, as well as during the harvest which allowed us to obtain very healthy grapes with an exceptional constitution.

More accessible than the great wine, Sarget de Gruaud Larose offers in this beautiful 2000 vintage a powerful nose with aromas of fruit, roasting and leather, with notes of almond and vanilla. On the palate, the attack is round and silky with fine, well-coated tannins and a fresh finish with spicy notes. A beautiful Saint-Julien that has matured after more than 20 years of cellar storage, and that can be enjoyed until around 2025.
