The wines of Château Lagrange

In 1842, King Louis-Philippe's former Minister of the Interior, Count Duchatel, left his mark on both the property and the Médoc region by being the initiator of the drainage of the vines. Le Comte increased production to 300 tons. This was the great era of Lagrange, which in 1855 saw it awarded the position of 3rd Growth.
