Benanti Contrada Monte Serra Etna DOC Italy Red 2018 - Box of 6

This superb Italian red wine is produced by the Benanti family on the small vineyard of Contrada Monte Serra planted with Nerello Mascalese, a noble grape variety of Etna, on the south-eastern slope of the volcano at 450 meters above sea level.
The vines, which are between 15 and 100 years old, overlook these volcanic soils rich in minerals, a wine with a pale ruby colour and garnet reflections. The nose is very elegant, with red fruits and spices, aromas that can be found on the palate on a round substance with supple tannins, with a very persistent harmonious finish. It will go perfectly with red meats, game and old cheeses.
