Seductive, with a beautiful dark purple colour, this Diamond Collection 2021 cuvée is made from 95% of the Zinfandel grape variety with 5% Petite Syrah. It offers a complex aromatic profile with spicy notes of pepper and nutmeg and black fruits. On the palate, we find bright flavors of raspberry, Boysen berries, sweet spices with a toasted finish.

Made from old vines in Amador County and the cooler-climate vineyards of Paso Robles and Sonoma, this Zinfandel has depth and complexity. Petite Sirah is added to the blend in small percentages to give structure to the wine and balance the luscious flavors of jammy strawberry, blackcurrant and heather.

In addition to Rubicon Winery, the famous property located in the Napa Valley that he acquired in the mid-1970s, Francis Ford Coppola created a second estate in 2006 in the town of Geyserville, in the Sonoma region, both a wine tourism and winery centre concentrating its trading activities.
