CARMENERE

Very old Bordeaux red grape variety, Carménère is now practically no longer cultivated in France. With more than 11000 ha worldwide, the Carménère grape variety is mainly planted in Chile, a little also in Italy and more recently in China. Some wines made from the Carménère grape variety: Colchagua and Apalta (Chile).
