Château Gassier is a 40-hectare wine estate located in the heart of the Cru Sainte-Victoire, in the Côtes-de-Provence appellation. It enjoys a unique environment, surrounded by the Sainte-Victoire mountain, the Sainte-Baume massif and the Aurelian Mountains, less than 30 kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea.
The estate produces rosé rosé wines of great finesse from local grape varieties such as Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle or Vermentino, including the mythical cuvée 946, representing the highest point in meters of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire. Château Gassier is organically farmed.
It is owned by the Gassier family, one of the oldest in Provence and today it is Georges Gassier, the 5th generation of winemakers in the family, who is at the head of the estate.
