Maison Laurent Ponsot is a Burgundy wine estate and wine merchant located in Gilly-les-Citeaux. In 2017, Laurent Ponsot decided to leave his three sisters and the eponymous family estate in which he had spent 35 years, to create his estate and his trading house with his son Clément.
They took over some of their vines from the family estate and then in 2019, acquired new vines. The estate now covers about 7 hectares, and the trading house buys grapes from selected winemakers to create new wines for which they fully ensure the vinification and ageing in their cellars. Their wines follow the same rules as those made at Domaine Ponsot for so many years with great success, with very little or no added sulphites or filtration.
Among the wines, there are many grands crus in both white and red, such as Corton-Charlemagne, Bâtard-Montrachet, Montrachet, Corton, Charmes-Chambertin, Latricières-Chambertin, Mazis-Chambertin, Chambertin and Chambertin Clos de Bèze.
