This 2009 Clos-Saint-Denis Grand Cru from Domaine Faiveley has a pretty dark and clear ruby colour. The nose is marked by aromas of black fruit and caramel to which are added a discreet woodiness. The attack on the palate is clean and the tannins are well present with a nice aromatic persistence and some coconut aromas on the finish. A great red wine from the Côte-de-Nuits that is well structured, fresh, elegant and balanced, a worthy representative of this renowned grand cru.
The Clos Saint-Denis, which is located in Morey-Saint-Denis, appeared in the 11th century. It was demarcated and named by the canons of Vergy. This grand cru is small and located in the middle part of the hillside that dominates the village.

Château Dassault 2009 is a great red wine from Saint-Emilion, Grand Cru Classé.
In the beautiful 2009 vintage, it offers a brilliant black colour and a rich nose with notes of black fruits, liquorice and sweet spices. On the palate, the expression is dense, deep, the tannins powerful and velvety, and the finish persistent. An exceptional vintage that can easily be kept in the cellar until 2030.
Château Dassault was born from the acquisition of Château Couperie by Marcel Dassault in 1955. Since then, it has continued to progress thanks to regular investments in the vineyard and cellar and the experience of the men and women in charge of the Château. Vinification is carried out in plots and is carried out in small thermo-regulated concrete vats and, for the most representative batches of the property, in barrels. The wine is aged in these barrels for 14 to 18 months.
You can also find all the wines of the magnificent 2009 vintage currently on sale at La Bouteille Dorée.
