This 2012 Bordeaux des Îles is a red wine from the exceptional Domaine de L'Île Margaux, one of the very few island vineyards in Bordeaux. Made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and old Malbec vines, it offers a nose of ripe black fruit with spicy notes and notes of evolution, leather, blond tobacco and undergrowth. On the palate, the substance is elegant with fine tannins and the finish remains fresh.

The 2012 vintage is the first year of the estate's conversion to organic farming.
