This Maranges 1er Cru Les Clos Roussots 2023 from Domaine Aurore Bachelet is a red wine from the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, made from plots of young Pinot Noir vines located in the heart of the village of Maranges.

It offers a beautiful deep ruby colour and a nose marked by aromas of sour cherries and red berries and fine floral and spicy notes (cinnamon). On the palate, the wine is ample and round with supple, coated tannins and a fresh and greedy finish.

It can be enjoyed now, or kept in the cellar until around 2035, to accompany red meats, white meats in spicy sauce and mature cheeses.

On the palate, there is a superb aromatic intensity and a perfect balance, with a very long and expressive finish. This Gevrey-Chambertin 2022 will be the ideal accompaniment to coq au vin, beef bourguignon, spicy meats or Burgundian cheeses such as Epoisses.

It can be enjoyed today or stored in the cellar until around 2035.
