Domaine Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Boucherottes Red 2012 Methuselah 6 litres - Original wooden case

This Beaune 1er Cru Boucherottes 2012 is a great red wine from Burgundy from Domaine Louis Jadot, offered here in a 6-litre Methuselah, in an original wooden case. The "Les Boucherottes" climate, a diminutive of bouchot which designates a bush, borders the commune of Pommard and offers, on this terroir where a thin silt covers deep marl, ample and powerful Pinot Noir red wines.

On the nose, it offers powerful aromas of red and black fruits with a slight evolution and on the palate, we find a beautiful gustatory breadth with elegant tannins well blended and a persistent finish. A wine to be enjoyed today with grilled red meats, osso bucco, beef bourguignon, game or cheeses such as a Cîteaux or a Mont d'Or. It can be kept in the cellar until 2028-2030.

The first months of 2012 were not very clement with a difficult flowering and the summer was disturbed by storms but the end of August and September fortunately proved to be more favourable and the ripening of the grapes was finally very good. The meticulous sorting resulted in very healthy grapes. Yields, on the other hand, were low and volumes were reduced.
