This Chambolle-Musigny 2021 from Domaine Arlaud comes from 4 plots located north of the village on the Morey side: Les Buissières, Les Herbues, Les Chardannes and Les Gammaires. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 14 to 18 months with 25% new barrels, without fining or filtration according to the rhythms of the moon.
It is a great Burgundy wine that offers a beautiful nose of red fruits and dried flowers. On the palate, the body is ample and silky with great persistence on the finish. It can be kept in the cellar until about 2035.
Domaine Arlaud has adopted sustainable agriculture since 1998, without herbicides, insecticides or acaricides. The grapes are harvested by hand. Since 2004, the estate has adopted the principles of organic farming, with an ECOCERT certification in 2010, and in 2009 started biodynamic cultivation.
